Stage Build We are looking to build a stage in the Media Center. This will involve donations of both time and money/supplies. If you are interested in leading this build, please contact Miss Brinn. Flower Fairy The flower fairy is a secret friend of Grand Oak that brings a bouquet of flowers once during the week they volunteered. These flowers are placed around the space to bring the outdoors in and also connect to the inquiry work we will engage in. Any kind of type of flowers are welcome and they can be home grown or store bought. Miss B. will provide vases. Volunteers
All volunteers must be registered with CMS. Please register here. Be a Library Leader Time commitment: 45 minutes to 1 hour per week Description: Share your time and talent with your favorite owl's class by being a Library Leader! Library Leaders will join the class once a week to assist in their journey with choosing books! During "A Week" the Library Leader will be on hand in the Media Center to assist with activities, library organization, and check-out. During "B Week" the Library Leader will report to the classroom to lead small groups down to the library to renew or exchange books. The Library Leader will also provide an extra hand for classroom teachers since they do not have Media on "B Week" or can help Miss Brinn catch up in the Media Center, if time allows. Training: A brief training will be held from 2:30-3:00pm on Tuesday, September 24. Other training dates will be set-up for those who cannot attend.
